What is the mobile workshop?
Our mobile workshop provides practical skills and mentoring for at-risk young people in Central Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
Who delivers the workshops?
The workshops are delivered by an experienced mentor with over 10 years in youth engagement and 20+ years in carpentry/joinery.
Who can participate?
Young people who are low in confidence and resilience, disengaged, at risk of exclusion, or not currently engaged in education can participate in our workshops.
The training can take place in the community or on school site, there are also site visits to gain an understanding of various trades and college courses available to them.

What skills do participants gain?
Participants gain confidence, employability skills, and positive behaviors through hands-on learning and mentoring, there would be a taster of various skills and trades as well as a final project for their local community giving them a sense of pride in their achievements and something to showcase.
