Mentoring

While at build a skill, staff have an ethos of open dialogue while working, students will have the radio on and a more relaxed model of working much like they may find in a work environment on site. This allows for mentoring to take place, staff modelling and promoting pro social behaviours.

As well as this, There will be opportunity to have 1-1 mentoring take place for specific students, and for some, to be entered onto a pastoral support plan, encouraging improved behaviour in school with access to build a skill as an incentive.
