What we offer

Not everyone gets on with the mainstream model of education, some people are naturally more inclined to have other, less academic skills which can leave them feeling disengaged and unmotivated with academic subjects, possibly resulting in poor behaviour or low confidence.

Our educators aim to help young people find their pathway in life by offering a varied range of real life skills and activities. Our diverse offering of practical activities paired with linking in with local companies, colleges and careers advisors mean that students can easily find their passion here at Build a Skill and then be given encouragement and guidance to pursue it further.

Throughout all time spent with staff at Build a Skill there is a focus on honest, open conversation, building respectful relationships
